Tigers Badminton Members Cup 2009
After the success and popularity of the recent badminton tournament. Another tournament was held, the Members Cup, to find out who was the best within the members of the Tigers.
This was a doubles tournament in a league format where 13 teams entered. Each team plays all the other teams once, with the top four qualifying for the semi-finals
The semi-finialists were Mojnu & Mokhodus vs Salay & Pavel and Nurul & Sayeed vs Shahjahan & Tufail. Playing best of 3 games, Salay & Pavel and Shahjahan & Tufail advance to the finals after winning their respective semi-finals. The finals was also a best of 3 match with Shahjahan & Tufail comming out victorious after a tough match.
A big thank you to Joglu Khan for sponsoring the trophies. Who also got injured and had to pull out of tournament. We wish him a speedy recovery. Finally thank you to all teams that participated and the spectators who came and supported the tigers.
