Community Cohesion Fund

Neath Port Talbot Tigers are please to announce that the club was successful in applying for the Community Cohesion Fund from Neath Port Talbot Council. The Tigers submitted three proposed bids and all three were successful giving the Tigers a busy March ahead.

International Mother Language Day Celebration

Tigers will organise an International Mother Language Day event, hosted by Dr Hywel Francis MP. The event will showcase diverse languages that exists within Neath Port Talbot through recitations of poetry and stage perfomances.This unique event will take place on Tuesday 30th March 2010 at the Princes of Royal Theatre, Port Talbot, SA13 1PJ.

Mulitcultural Cooking Workshop

A Multicultural cooking workshop will be held, where local chefs will demonstrate and supervise a cooking class for mix audience of BME and non BME community of Neath Port Talbot, to raise awareness of different style of food that exist in Neath Port Talbot.

Tigers will aim to showcase diverse cultures of food such as Indian, Bangladeshi, Pakistani, Turkish, Malaysian, Chinese, Afro Caribbean, Welsh, English, Irish and other Europeans.

Youth Integration Trip

A trip has been organisied on the 21st March 2010 to go Drayton Manor Theme Park, Birmingham.

This is a social trip aim to integrate young members of the BME and non BME groups to promote integration, community cohesion, diversity and culture through social events.
